LET’S GET THIS PARTY STARTED

Alright, let’s get this party started.
I’ve been putting off posting for far too long now.
So this will be my first official blog post. Yes, some of you may know I did a blog post about Memorial Day earlier this year, but that post was not relevant to my site nor my message.
So what’s my message?
Well, I’m still figuring that out exactly.
First and foremost, God is all that matters. Nothing else compares.
Secondly, I love business, independence, entrepreneurship, freedom, traveling, meeting people, and helping people. I really want to develop an online business of some sort. I love the idea of creating additional streams of income and being able to work from anywhere.
Side Note: For some reason, I really struggle with the intertwining of God and money. It’s like I feel guilty for wanting more money. But why? We have to have it. Everything under the sun is outrageously expensive. It costs a fortune to raise 3 kids. My oldest one is starting college next year and wants to be a physician. Life costs money. We have to have it. But as long as we’re doing good with it, honoring God with it, supporting good causes, and living generously with it, we shouldn’t feel bad for wanting it. Right?
Thirdly, I believe we were all born with God-given talents, skills, and abilities. We’re all different. We have different desires, drives, and motivations. We should embrace our differences, our uniqueness, and live our lives according to our innate God-given design. We shouldn’t live our lives the way others expect of us, nor should we live like everyone else is living, just because that’s what everyone else is doing. We’re not robots. We’re individuals. We’re all different. We should live our lives true to ourselves. The way God made us. And we should use what He gave us to serve others.
That’s my starting point.
From here, I want to write regularly and see where it takes me.
To infinity and beyond!
Let me know your thoughts. Do you ever struggle with the intertwining of God and money? I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
Ever feel like there has to be something more to life?
